Thornaby & Barwick Medical Group is currently an eight Partner (three female and five male) GMS (General Medical Services) practice based on two sites. We also have several other doctors employed at the practice.

Our surgery in the centre of Thornaby is a purpose built development which opened in November 2003 and was a joint venture with a neighbouring practice.

Our Ingleby Barwick surgery occupies a purpose built premises in a greenfield development near to Thornaby.

The practice serves Thornaby, Ingleby Barwick and Maltby and has a long tradition of providing healthcare in the area for over 60 years. Our list size is currently in excess of 21,100 patients, with over 11,100 of these in Ingleby Barwick.
